Prior to this, he handled various executive roles across different organizations. He has 20 years IT Audit, Data Protection and Information Security experience across Philippines, Brazil, Poland, Madagascar, China, Ecuador, Argentina, Croatia, Georgia, Mexico, USA, Kenya, Indonesia and Austria.
Jake extended consultancy at the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of the United Nations in Vienna, Austria. He extended consultancy as well to the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) located in Nairobi, Kenya.
Jake took his BS Business Administration & Accountancy (BS BAA) and Masters in Technology Management (MTM) both from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He also completed the AIM - PLDT - Smart Cybersecurity Executive Program from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
Jake is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) , Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC), ITILv3(F), COBIT 5(F), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), and obtained a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEHv6) certification. He was the Dec 2013 third highest scorer in the CISM exam. He was also the Dec 2015 second highest scorer in the CRISC exam in PH. And, he got the highest score (top 1) in CDPSE for July to Dec 2022.
