In this course, the participants will have an understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), its components and importance. They will be more empowered in appreciating how ITGC affects the extent of our sampling when performing tests of application controls and the implications to our audit approach.


After completion:

  • Participants shall learn the concepts of ITGC,
  • Determine how they can test the different components of ITGC, and
  • Explore how ITGC testing could fit in their audit strategies.
