Roberto Bassig is a Consulting Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Services Philippines Co. Ltd starting July 2017. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in Technology and Risk consulting.
His areas of expertise and focus include helping organizations modernize and embrace digital shift and transformation, including giving advice on the right technology assets and models to consider and implement, redesign of enterprise processes in preparation for technology transformation, software licensing strategy and management, technology governance and risk management, cybersecurity and forensic services, among others.
He started his career in PwC by performing IT audits ranging from process improvement reviews, information security and compliance readiness, IT governance and enterprise resource planning post-implementation and optimizations.. He left the firm for a while to understand better the corporate world and joined one of the largest domestic ICT organization as Chief Audit Executive.. He rejoined the firm in 2012 his present capacity.
Robbie holds the following international qualifications: Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls. He has attended various leadership and technical programs locally and abroad and has completed the Management Development Program of AIM. He’s alsoa ertified Public Accountant and maintains memberships with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Mel leads the Information Security, Cyber Security, Data Privacy and Resiliency Group of Globe FinTech Innovations aka Mynt. Mynt is joint venture of Globe Telecom and Alibaba Group. She has more than 15 years experience in Information Security Management, IT Security and Privacy, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, IT Audit , Applications Development and Project Management.
Prior to joining Mynt, she had been engaged in a number of projects on Business Continuity, Data Protection, IT Audit and Application Development and Support within the Asia Pacific Region. She has helped a large commercial bank and software development houses to be CMMI compliant. She was part of the Core Team of the first company who earned the BCM Certification in the Philippines wherein there were no non conformities cited by the 3rd party assessors.
Moreover, she established and led the Business Continuity and Information Security Group of a global IT Company servicing majority of its clients from the financial services industry within USA and Europe. In addition to that, she also led the business and technology resiliency group of a multinational financial services corporation in the Philippines making it compliant to ISO22301 standard and to the Guidelines on Information Technology Risk Management of the Central Bank of the Philippines.

Ally Rannie B. Nicdao, CPA, CISA, CIA, CRISC, CRMA, CPISI, ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager

Ally is a Seasoned, Risk Management, Internal and IT Audit Professional. He has more than six (6) years of working experience in information systems audit, internal audit, governance, risk management, compliance readiness assessments and business process reviews, across various industries, with specialization in the financial services sector.

Currently, he is working as a Risk Management Executive in one of the leading health maintenance organizations (HMO) in the Philippines handling operational risk, information technology risk, data privacy, information security and consumer protection program.

Prior to joining the HMO company, he was one of the managers of Isla Lipana & Co., member firm of PwC, and was the designated champion for its IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solution set specifically in the financial services sector. Also, he worked as the head office and information system audit division head in a banking subsidiary of one of the biggest conglomerates in the Philippines.

He is also a part-time facilitator in the Institute of Internal Auditors-Cebu (IIA-Cebu) handling various topics such as CAATs Using Excel, Risk-based Audit, Operations Audit and Fundamentals of IT Audit.

He topped the 2015 Certified in Risk and Information System Control (CRISC) and was part of the global top 20% of the 2014 Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) examination given by ISACA.

Frank Vibar, PMP, CISSP, CISM, CBCP

Frank has more than 20 years of solid experience with a proven track record in exercising his leadership, management and technical skills with distinguished performance as he consistently spearheads and delivers projects with utmost business value for the organizations he has worked with.

He has significant and well-balanced technical and management skills as well as vendor and end-user experience; having worked for top-tier global organizations such as IBM Philippines and Sun Microsystems during the earlier part of his career and with UNILAB (United Laboratories Inc.), Jollibee Foods Corporation and now as the CIO of Starbucks Philippines.

Always an outstanding performer in all the companies he worked for, Frank was considered prominent talent who is constantly at the top of his game and always masters the field that he is working on -- as proven by his certifications in key technologies and standards.
