Mr. Jonathan Juan “JJ” Moreno is an entrepreneurial and driven senior executive who has over 20 years of experience in leading and advising organizations in various roles – as Chief Strategy Officer of Metro Retail Stores Group, a Fellow of Palladium Group - Asia-Pacific, and as President and CEO of the Institute of Corporate Directors – Philippines, among others.

Known as a transformation expert who “gets things done the right way”, he has successfully led and managed organizations over the course of his notable career.

JJ, a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy, was also a former Navy officer who retired to the rank of Navy Commander in 2009 and on top of his illustrious achievements in the Navy, he also has an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management and Melbourne Business School (as an exchange student). He has likewise taken special courses in Yale School of Management, U.S.A and Nottingham University Business School, U.K. (under the Chevening Program). JJ is also a graduate of the Advance Management Program at the IESE Business School, University of Navarra in Barcelona, Spain, and was part of the First SGV-MAP NexGen CEO Transformative Leadership Program, a 9-month program for high-performing new and future CEOs below 50.

Through the years, he has built an extensive network of leaders and influencers in the business, government, and civil society sectors, including multilateral agencies and regulatory bodies both domestically and internationally and this made him become highly sought after by being appointed in various company Boards then and now.

Given his success in leading and managing organizations and complex projects that involve multiple shareholders and stakeholders, Mr. Moreno was appointed President and CEO of AF Payments, Inc. a partnership between two of the country’s biggest conglomerates, the Ayala Group and First Pacific Group, that won the bid to design, build operate the Automated Fare Collection System of the country’s operating rail lines (LRT 1&2, and MRT 3) under the Public-Private Partnership scheme. Its payments system is now being used in a growing network of public transport systems (i.e. buses, ferries and jeepneys) using its contactless smart cards (with about 11M cards issued to date), QR applications and other platform technology under the brand name beep™.

Beyond his professional role, JJ is a loving husband to his wife Charmaine and a devoted father to their three children.

With more than 20 years’ experience combined with Life Coaching, and 200 hours accomplished counseling hours of counseling and 60 hours of coaching to earn the Christian Counselor and Life Coach Designations, and adept at conducting seminars and talks that deals with issues about self, leadership, motivation, and empowerment for women, communication skills, trauma and abuse.

I want to assist others to thrive in their personal life and in their relationships! Together, we can find the balance between caring for oneself and for others and develop the skills to create emotional health. as well as conduction of private psychotherapy, counseling and coaching session as needed.

Through counseling peoples find a deeper connection and meaning to their everyday existence, as well as help them develop their skills. My passion for life, relationships, people, as well as animals made my everyday existence and opportunity to be exposed to various ideas, knowledge, challenges and skills in and about life.

I am particularly passionate about working with children, and women that deals with relationship problems and life transitions. I take every opportunity to use the media to promote healthy relationships & mental health and I enjoy helping other therapists build thriving practices, and I consider them all as blessings.
