By taking such a stance, they can mobilize and harness the efforts of the society to fulfill its agenda and activities.” Locally, it would be interesting for internal auditors to get an insight into the mindset of new emerging leaders in government and hear their plans for the future. Internal Auditors in the public sector are well-positioned to support the governance responsibilities of oversight, insight, and foresight that government leaders can appreciate in fulfilling their role responsibly, effectively, and with transparency.
