One of the most important components of Project Management is the identification and management of the stakeholders and their respective interests. Many times, the success of the projects are not measured in the traditional Quality-Cost-Delivery (QCD) indicators, but on how the stakeholders perceive the importance and value of the project. And a lot of times, challenges of achieving project success come from the resistance form the key stakeholders.
This course will provide attendees with an introduction key concepts and processes of project stakeholder management to help the Internal Audit organizations in their risk assessments and audit engagements. This will provide detailed discussions of the project stakeholder management process as described Project Management Book of Knowledge released by Project Management Institute (PMI) and to provide practical tips on how to apply this knowledge in audit and consulting engagements.
