Focus & Features
A Framework provides a structural blueprint of how a body of knowledge and guidance fit together. As a coherent system, a framework facilities consistent development, interpretation, and application of concepts, methodologies, and techniques useful to a discipline or profession. Specially, the purpose of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) is to organize The Institute of Internal Auditors' (IIA's) authoritative guidance in a manner that is readily accessible on a timely basis while strengthening the position of The IIA as the standard-setting body for the internal audit profession globally. By encompassing current internal audit practice as well as allowing for future expansion, the IPPF is intented to assist practitioners and stakeholders throughout the world in being responsive to the expanding market for high quality internal auditing.
