    Carlo Asuncion is an economist with experience in macroeconomic analysis and surveillance of Asian economies, covering macroeconomic, business and financial markets issues. As economist for Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank), he leads macroeconomic research covering the Philippines, other relevant economies and financial markets. Before joining UnionBank in 2016, Carlo was a research economist and consultant for the Macroeconomics Research Division of the Asian Development Bank. His research interests are on macroeconomics, forecasting, development economics and policy, monetary policy, and financial markets.

    Associate Justice at Sandiganbayan

    Justice Maria Theresa V. Mendoza-Arcega is a CPA-lawyer. She earned her BS in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of the East and her Bachelor of Laws from San Beda College. She began her Supreme Court career in 1990, later serving in various judicial roles, including as Presiding Judge of the Family Court in Malolos, Bulacan. She was also designated by the Supreme Court to the International Hague Network of Judges and chaired various gender equality initiatives.

    Justice Arcega teaches law at San Beda, UST, and Bulacan State University, and has co-authored books on Legal Ethics and Family Law. She served as a Bar Examiner and is an active member of the Philippine Women Judges Association. She has received numerous awards, including the Award for Judicial Excellence (2002) and Gawad Bunying Abogadong Bulakenyo (five times). In 2024, she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws by Tomas Claudio Colleges. Recently, she and her family received the Natatanging Pamilya ng Parokya 2024 award.
